A website in ten days: how we do it, and what it asks of you.
A small business does not have three months to give to a website. Here is how we deliver in ten days, when they start counting, what derails them, and what you hold in your hands at the end.
Ten days, starting when
Ten business days, from the moment we have received everything: your photos, your logo if you have one, and access to your domain name if you already have one. Not from the signature, not from the deposit. It is the only honest way to count, because a website without photos can be drawn, but it cannot be finished.
Between the call and the arrival of your photos, it can take a day or three weeks. That depends on you, and that is fine. We give you a short list, and we follow up once. Not ten times.
What happens during those ten days
In the first days, we write. The copy for each page, based on what you told us during the call: your services, your towns, what sets you apart, the questions your customers ask you all the time. We sort your photos, crop them, fix the lighting. We prepare the structure: which pages, in what order, with which buttons.
In the middle, we build. The design around your logo and your colours, the phone version first (that is where your customers will see it), then the desktop version. The data that Google and AI assistants read, the Google profile connected, the forms tested for real, with real taps on a real phone.
At the end, you see the website, on your own phone, before anyone else. You tell us what feels off (a sentence, a photo, a colour) and we fix it. Then we put it online, check that everything responds, and hand you the files and the access.
What derails a timeline
- Photos that do not arrive. It is the number one cause, by far. Ten phone photos sent on day one beat forty perfect photos sent a month later.
- Approval that drags. If the site sits on your desk for three weeks, it will not be ready in ten days. We ask for an answer within two days, even if it is “I haven’t had time”.
- A change of plans. Adding a service or a town along the way is doable. Changing trades or business names is another website.
- Missing domain access. If your domain is with a former provider who does not answer, we cannot put the site online on it. We help you get it back, but that time is not part of the ten days.
Why not faster, why not slower
Faster would mean a template with your copy pasted in. We have seen it, we do not do it: a site that takes four seconds to load because it drags a two-megabyte theme makes no phone ring. Writing, choosing photos, testing on a real phone takes days, not hours.
Slower would be for the agency’s comfort, not for the quality of the site. A small-business website is not a banking app. Three months of meetings do not make it better; they make it more expensive. We deliberately limit the number of projects at the same time so yours moves forward every day, not once a week.
What you receive at the end
- A live website, on your domain name, in your name, in French and English when it is included.
- The website files, yours, that you can host wherever you like.
- Your access: hosting, Google profile, email, in your name and not ours.
- A single contact for what comes next, who answers the same day, with or without Web Care.
Each step, and exactly what we ask of you, is detailed on the How it works page.
Where to start
- Today: gather ten to twenty photos in a folder on your phone. Finished jobs, your team, trucks, products.
- This week: twenty minutes on the phone with us, at the time that suits you.
- In ten days: your website, on your phone, ready for your approval.
Already have a website and wondering if it is worth redoing? Run it through the free audit first. The report tells you where it is stuck, in a few minutes.
Are your photos ready?
Twenty minutes on the phone, and the countdown starts as soon as we have everything. The price, the dates and what is included, in writing before you say yes.
